Marian Rivera cried on the presidential table at the presscon of the movie “Desperadas 2″. We originally thought that the only reason why she cried is because of Karylle’s meaningful smile at her interview with Boy Abunda, but there’s another reason!
Marian Rivera arrived late at the said presscon and a veteran reporter reportedly called her “PLASTIKADA!” face-to-face! The veteren reporter (with initials EP?) reportedly got mad at the actress when she shouted at him and called him “istorbo!” when he was aking for her autograph to be sent to a friend.
Some of the texters find her crying moment a “desperate act” to get the attention of the press that day. Some even said that Marian’s cry is perfect to describe the real meaning of “crocodile tears”.
It seems that Marian Rivera is getting too much negative publicity these days. Tsktsk.
With Angel Locsin, since being a certified Kapamilya, had been replaced by Marian Rivera as the new Kapuso princess. But where does the replacing ends? Is it true that Marian is hacking Angel’s projects and endorsements?
Recently, the Marimar alumni had signed up a contract to be the new endorser of JAG. It used to be endorsed by the Lobo leading lady. What irks many is that why is Marian’s camp slanting more publicity over the said replacement? Is this just a way to divert things as Marian is drowned currently of negative publicity because of her Youtube scandals.
What these Marian fanatics do not know is that Angel left JAG for a bigger endorsement in a much famous clothing line. Angel went for it as it has complete offerings from accessories to dresses apart from jeans. In fact the endorsement will have a launching on June 21 at Trinoma. The huge billboard of Angel will also be unveiled at the same day on EDSA.
If Marian replaced someone not as famous as Angel, it would not be deeply publicized. Isn’t this an evidence that the Dyesebel’s camp is using her rival’s popularity to gain more sympathy she is currently in need because of her supposed scandals. In the video we can see that Marian Rivera confronted a guy during a shooting of Dyesebel in Subic, Olongapo, using sharp words including ‘tinatarantado’, a particularly bad word in the Filipino language.
The story unfolds as the scandal escalates. It turns out that Marian confronted, not a fan but a production staff who was videotaping the shooting (which is prohibited). Marian saw him and called him out. He blasted her off with some sharp words of his own, which translates to ‘Mind your own business. It’s not even you I’m videotaping!’ She felt maligned and went all out in the confrontation. The clip that the youtube uploader showed was edited, and did not show the root and cause of why Marian reacted the way she did.
In her PEP.ph interview she disclosed that the guy showed the first rudeness, and that she just reacted to it. She said that “No one will treat me like that, I’m a Cavitena (from the Cavite province), and I’m going to fight.”
From a fan’s point of view this is a bad thing. That the sweet-faced actress could be as scary as shown in the video could make her less lovable to fans. But then we have to consider this issue from an ordinary bystander’s point of view. Marian Rivera, Dyesebel, Marimar… however you choose to call her… is human. That she defended herself the only way she knows how to someone who disrespected her, without thinking of the repercussions, is something that anyone could have done.
I don’t think this could change her career. Maricel Soriano didn’t get to where she is without her taray image, as did Nida Blanca (God bless her soul). Marian will survive, in fact she will thrive with this issue… and get more respect from people.

My gosh! I know this is so pathetic.. but I just can’t help myself from doing this. So far this is my first ever blog entry that relates to local showbiz scene and maybe my cheapest entry ever!hehe So seriously guyzz, you really don’t have to read this hehe! First, it has been published to different tabloids/magz/net sites for the past months that marian and dingdong, aside from their sweetness oncam as loveteam, have this “special” relationship offscreen but both parties have been denying that since the issue came up.
Next is the break up of Karyl-DingDong. Both has been a couple for about 3 yrs or so but a couple of months ago, Karyl and DingDong announced publicly that their relationship is finally over but they decided to keep the break up’s real reason for themselves. But the media was left curious and so the culprit they pointed out? - Marian Rivera who was allegedly the main reason why the couple broke up. But still DingDong and Marian denied that issue.
Just recently, Karyl was welcomed at ASAP as the newest Kapamilya star. Her decision to transfer in the said network channel created a lot of noise leaving the media again at the height of their curiosity. But Karyl clarified that her decision to transfer was nothing but a mere career move. Last Sunday, Karyl was interviewed in the BUZZ (showbiz-oriented show) and was asked if she knew something about the alleged pregrancy of Marian Rivera (DingDong as the father). The response was just a very simple smile with that very intriguing stare to the host Boy Abunda. That silent reply made the issue clamor more.
Just this week, Marian reacted to Karyl’s response. At the press interview of the movie DESPERADAS 2 (in which Marian is one of the cast), one reporter asked Marian as to what was her reaction with Karyl’s response about the alleged pregnancy. Initially, she answered the query in full poise. Until it came to a point wherein she broke down and was nearly hysterical. I know that it has been said a lot of times that a picture paints a thousand words. Well this one, I suppose is far from being a good painting. I get irritated by the fact that they kept on denying the stupid issue but they just can’t behave properly (offcam) in such a way that people will stop accusing them of something.
Another one is this video which really shocked me a whole lot more! This made me stop and think for awhile. How could Marian and Dingdong have the guts to deny the issue of having a “special” relationhip when they act like normal lovers offcam.
But frankly speaking, I really don’t care if they are really together or not! What I’m trying to stress out is they should stop denying the issue when they act so in love publicly! Come on Marian!
